This extremely violent race has only been in one F-Zero game so far: F-Zero X. You could choose any F-Zero Machine and adjust the settings to an all-out slamfest. The goal was to eliminate every single opponent as fast as possible, leaving the track looking like a battefield once the race was over. It's not known why the Deathrace wasn't active the year after F-Zero X(In F-Zero GX), but it's mostlikely that it was cancelled due to it's extreme violence. However F-Zero GX fans can still get a feeling of how the Deathrace was by playing Chapter 4 in Story Mode or try to create a Deathrace scenario in Practive Mode.
