Smash Bag: March 27, 2004Link vs. Samurai Goroh
Who would win in a fight?
Link or Samurai Goroh (They both have swords) -From Eric-
Metroid Killer: Hmm another tough one... If we looked beside the fact that Link is the chosen one, then I would say that Samurai Goroh would win. We've seen in F-Zero GX that Goroh is very agile, plus the movement of a katana is much quicker than any medieval swords.
F-Zero Machines
You said the F-zero machine models of N64s F-Zero X were also used for Super Smash Bros. Melee for the the Big Blue and Mute City stages as well as the F-zero Racers Trophy but, if you look at the trophies of Captain Falcon,Dr. Stewart,Sameurai Goroh, and Jody Summer. You see that their machines HAVE been up to date. -From rcz-
Falcontress85: Rather true… However, they are still different compared to the GX variation of the same vehicle… Besides, I think the only reason these 4 were up-to-date was because of the foreshadowing of GX/AX. I might be wrong, but that’s the only way I can see this as…
Secret Machine?
In F-Zero GX there are 49 machines in total. But could be there a secret 50th machine? -From Flavio Termine-
Falcontress85: I think you mean there are 41 racers total… The 30 from F-Zero X return. Only 1 was introduced in GX, Deathborn, and then the AX machine introduced 10 more, giving you a grand total of 41! ^^ Sorry, but I doubt there is even going to be a 50th machine, even with the new game, F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu, which introduces 4 new characters.
Metroid Killer: 49 machines? Are you counting the 8 custom machines into that? Then yes, 49 is quite an odd number to deal with. In my opinion though you shouldn't count the custom machines into this. That still leaves us with the 41 Machines as Falcontress explained. I find it pretty weird that Deathborn didn't came instead of one of the 10 AX pilots, so there wouldbe 10 new pilots instead of 11. But on the other hand we shouldn't complant about getting too many new Pilots, not even though it's completely logic ;)
Frost Lynx-G4
Hi again. With what machine parts can I build Frost Lynx - G4? -From Flavio Termine-
Metroid Killer: Please use our Machine Builder here at F-Zero World. Just type in "Frost Lynx-G4" in the Un-building option.
Music
Hi again. I heard the beautiful music you registered. I want to do it to, but how do I register the music with out the vehicle crashing, boost, etc.? -From Flavio Termine-
Metroid Killer: Sorry, but I understand what you are saying. If you are asking if I can upload some sound effects from F-Zero GX then no, none of the sound effects can be found on the Internet, and it would be very hard to record the sound effects since you can turn off the music in F-Zero GX.
No Falcon Punch
Don't you think that it's stupid Falcon didn't use Falcon Punch in chapter 06 on Black Shadow:)? -From Lui-
Falcontress85: That’s a question worth pondering… Actually, I would’ve loved to see a fight between these two, but seeing how it is F-Zero and not SSBM, I’m afraid we’re going to have to wait to see if that happens in the next SSBM installment. Besides, if Falcon just punched Shadow, I don’t think we would need Chapter 6… XD
New F-Zero
Man what is wrong with all these kids nowadays. I guess they don't teach spelling anymore. Anyway do you guys think a new F-zero game will be released? I find it very doubtful due to the lack of success that GX received. If anything, I see a new game coming out on nintendo's next console but who knows? What are your comments on this issue? -From Phil-
Falcontress85: First of all, I have to agree with ya that people need to use some kind of spell check on their word processor before sending these letters… It helps so much!!! ^^;
Ok, on to your F-Zero question… There has been no word on the release of the GBA game F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu. For all we know, Japan already has it out and Europe will be next in line. There is no confirmation whether or not the US will get it or not. Hopefully, at this coming E3 in May, some info will be released.
Metroid Killer: I think it would be pretty safe to assume that the new GBA F-Zero will be released worldwide considering that F-Zero GX sold just as much if not more in the US than is did in Japan. The only factor against a US release would be that the game is based on a Japanese anime. I'm Falcontress on this one, I'm sure a US F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu release date will be announced at E3.
Timeline
Oh men! When I was talking about timeline I wasn't talking about which
F-Zero is first or last... And I was talking about making our own timeline with name of game and year. Something like this:
F-Zero X - 2560
F-Zero GX - 2561
Acident - 2557 etc.
Don't you think that F-Zero (all parts) is the best game ever:)? -From Lui-
Falcontress85: Ahh… Ok, sorry about that misunderstanding!!! ^^;
This was the timeline I had for one of my fanfics I made several years ago…
F-Zero - 2394
Grand Finale - 2400
F-Zero X - 2420
Great Accident - 2417
F-Zero GX/AX - 2421
F-Zero: MV - 2521
Metroid Killer: Yes the F-Zero franchise is one of Nintendo's very best, and defintely one of the most underrated franchises as well. However my heart belongs to the Metroid franchise(hence my nickname ;) ), no games have touched me like Super Metroid and Metroid Prime have. F-Zero is on a close 2nd place though, and certainly not neglected at all.
Diet and dyed hair
Did you ever notice something? When you see Captain Falcon in the cut-scenes he looks kinda fat, but when you seen him in his profile, setting thingy and F-Zero TV he looks more shinnier. For some reason when you see Dr. Stewart and Jody Summers in the cut-scenes they're hair are lighter.
Here's a question for Mkiller and Falcontress85
Which F-Zero character would you be?
Is there someone else besides Samurai Goroh would make a good appearenc (How ever you spell it) for a future installment of Super Smash Bros. -From Eric-
Falcontress85: ^^; Oh jeez… I would be Captain Falcon if I weren’t a girl, but I do have a character created that’s supposed to be a female version of Falcon (You know, like Mrs. Arrow and Super Arrow), but these two are siblings, not husband and wife…
As for the SSB question, I really have no clue since each character is different. Deathborn and Shadow are good candidates, along with Leon and possibly Super Arrow.
Metroid Killer: We have to consider that the FMW's in F-Zero GX contains a lot more details than the in-game models. Also it's a fact that a tight spandex can make anyone look fat, perhaps Amusement vison wanted ultra realsism in their movies ;). I don't know about the lighter hair... perhaps it's just to make some "interesting changes", nevertheless it did caught the attention of many F-Zero fans.
I guess I don't have that disadvantage of Falcontress concerning your second question. Captain Falcon is my overall favorite F-Zero Pilot, so I would probably chose him. Blood Falcon is another of my favorites, he's cooler than Captain Falcon... but there's the hatch with him being an evil clone and all that.
Sounds of...
I was wondering if there's any more alternate songs for the courses in GX besides Big Blue and Mute City. Is there? -From Leonard Q.-
Metroid Killer: Nope, Big Blue and Mute City are the only "Sounds of". Eventhough Sega later released info on how to aquire these two alternative songs on their website, they were first discovered by a fan using the Action Replay device, which can basicly let you see any data on the gamecube disc. He says he has searched through the entire disc and the only unannounced secre stuff he found was Sounds of Mute City and some beta designs of some courses which weren't possible to race on.
Bloody Chain in F-Zero?
I've recently played a used F-Zero game for the SNES and I was about to beat the game on expert when all of a sudden this one racer got in the way while I was in the middle of a boost.I ended up crashing into it and bounced around the the track like a pinball and blew up.I got so mad I punched the wall.Anyway, later on I played ch.4 in story mode in GX.I then realized that the Michael Chain "look alikes" reminded me of that racer that cost me the grand prix in F-Zero.I was wondering if those racers in F-Zero were early versions of Michael and his gang. Are they? -From Leon-
Metroid Killer: If anything it's the other way around. You have to remember that neither Michael Chain nor his Bloody Chain Clan was created until F-Zero X. The "look alikes" may be a reference to the computer controlled Machines in F-Zero.
Anime characters
Do you have a lot of info on the anime characters because, I know about them. Well...not everything just the game. -From rczdogz1-
Metroid Killer: Yes, Falcontress has seen many of the Anime Episodes, and once the F-Zero Encyclopedia will be up you will be able to read detailed info about each of the new faces from the anime.
Samurai Goroh vs. Pico
Which person do you think would win in a fight Samuri Goroh or Pico? -From Draq-
Falcontress85: Goroh has the katana and is pretty quick with it… Pico has the guns and assassin skills to take out practically anyone he wanted… I’m going to go with Pico on this one, because I don’t see anyway of Goroh dodging those bullets… XD
Metroid Killer: I agree, Bullet vs. Sword is often a settled battle beforehand... unless you are a certain Ninja from Metal Gear Solid ;)
The Anime in America?
Hey when do you think f-zero tv series will come to the U.S? Is there any date, and how are the ratings there in Japan is F-Zero doing well? -From Falconiac-
Metroid Killer: No date has been set yet. I think it's pretty safe to assume that the anime will come to US shores on time or another. In my opinion it might take a couple of years though. Unfortunately I don't expect there to be any chance of the anime airing in European television.
F-Zero Movie
Do you think there'll ever be an F-Zero movie? -From Alex-
Metroid Killer: No. No chance at all! I would much rather have an F-Zero movie than a Metroid or Zelda movie. First of all: It'd dangerous to make a Metroid of Zelda movie, there's so much story elements to consider and no matter what the outcome would be, many fans would claim that the movies goes against the essence of the franchise. In F-Zero we also have a whole lot of background story, but that's mainly because there are so many characters. Only tidbits are known about each character, their work, a hobby, good/evil, so the director would be able to model the characters pretty much (within limits of course). However F-Zero needs one more thing; Popularity. There simply aren't enough F-Zero fans to create a movie that would appeal to a major crowd. Zelda and Metroid have that.
Frost Spear-G4
I just want to share my custom machine with the world,it's called the Frost Spear-G4.This machine is to me like the blue falcon is to Captain Falcon,I use it all the time. Thanks to this speedy little thing, beating Master difficulty was a breeze.I also like to call it the staff ghost killer.I call it that because I beat almost all of the staff ghosts in time attack(without snaking!)I also like how how it looks.I made the color for all three parts white and the emblems I put go well with it. On the back, I put the blue flame emblem, on the cockpit I put an L logo that represents the first letter in my name, and on the sides I put sprites of Mario&luigi that I made.Oh, and I put the pilot as Draq 'cause he reminds me of me. -From Leonard Q.-
Metroid Killer: Yes, it's cool to experiment with the cusom machines and then suddenly have a wonder in your hands!
Help with Time Attack
I had recently unlocked the staff ghost for mute city: twist road. However, when I race on that track, only my ghost appears, not the staff ghost. Also, if I can beat the staff ghosts time on a track, do I win anything? -From Nathan Teminski-
Metroid Killer: When you are in the "Select Course" screen, press the Y botton to load any ghosts(staff ghost and/or personal ghosts) for that course. A new window will pop up in the right side of the screen. Highlight the ghosts you want to race and press the X botton. The text in the new small window will then turn yellow and you'll know that you've selected it. The only thing you win from beating a Staff Ghost is a star next to the ghost the next time you choose it and the joy from beating a one of the hardest things in F-Zero GX.
F-Zero AX
Do you know how to contact people who do the placing of F Zero AX arcade machines? If so, can you please let me know because the F Zero AX arcade machine closest to me is in Toronto, and I live 1 and a half hours from T.O. I want to see if I can get one put in my hometown(Kitchener).
Thanks a million -From Nathan Teminski-
Metroid Killer: Unfortunately no. I'll try to investigate into this matter once I have more time to do it. I'll let you all know if I find some interesting stuff.
Chapter 3 song
Hi!
I've a question about the music of F-zero GX. What's the name of the song in chapter 3? When Falcon is gonna race as Famicom.
I hope you can help me! -From Remco Stoppelenburg-
Metroid Killer: You are talking about the intro music of Chapter 3, right? It's my favorite music as well. Unfortunately it's not possible get that song anywhere. And when recorded from the game there a lot of disturbance such as the speach and sound effects. Lets hope for an official soundtrack with this song on it.
