Smash Bag: April 23, 2004Mustache
When I first saw Mr. Ead I thought his mustache was his month then when I saw him in F-Zero GX I found out it was a mustache! -From Eric-
Metroid Killer: Heh I find it pretty funny actually. You know, the mustache is supposed to look like Mario's, and the reason why Mario had mustache was so it would cover his mouth in the old games since it'd be hard to make a mouth. Kinda ironic isn't it? ;)
F-Zero 2
Just found out at the gamespot website which new Gamecube and Gameboy games that are coming out, and F-Zero 2 is one of them for the gameboy advance! -From rczdogz1-
Metroid Killer: Yes, it seems like F-Zero 2 is the tentative title for F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu.
Sliding Swords
I've been trying to build the best custom machine possible, but I've had a few snags. I've been trying to use the Silver Sword body part, but there seems to be no booster and cockpit combination that go well with it. No matter what I put with Silver Sword, the machine always slides. Do you know of any good bosster and cockpit to go with Silver Sword, and how can I keep my other custom machines from sliding? -From Nathan Teminski-
Metroid Killer: Well pretty much all custom machines slides more than the official machines. But if you use L and R to drift they'll handle very well. I found the Arch Fox-G4(Silver Sword, Cyber Fox, Titan -G4) to be pretty good. Use the machine's swiftness to your advantage and take on the inner lane in even the sharpest coners.
Made-up pilots
If you could make up any F-Zero character wat would they look like? -From Draq-
Falcontress85: Well, I’ve actually made up quite a few. First is my own Lt. Jessie Jay Falcon, a female version of Captain Falcon who is also his sister. She has long black hair and a scar over her left eye. Then there’s Prince Christopher Draco Falconi, Jessie’s boyfriend and an F-Zero version of my actual boyfriend. This guy is a human dressed up in dragon designs and has a head of white hair. His ears are slightly pointed, but I think they’re awesome. His hands are a bit big, but he has a nice set of claws. He wields a sword and is somewhat on the bad side of Captain Falcon… Odd, huh? ^^ That’s because Falcon doesn’t like his sister in a relationship with someone who’s part human and part dragon. These are my two main ones, but I have a whole lot more. My DeviantART site (http://falcontress85.deviantart.com) holds several renders of these characters, some in black and white while others are in full color. The other character, whom I won’t describe since there are a lot, are Kraven Pyro (Blood Falcon, Jr., who was my original character entered into SWF’s F-Zero Contest), Sonja and Sasha (F-Zero version of my two sisters), M.E.T.A, Hausa, Illusion, and a few others that are not named since I’m still thinking about what to name them.
Metroid Killer: I would like to see a robot. With only Mighty Gazelle (who's only a cyborg) and QQQ as the only robots in the game, there's defintely need and room for a new robot. It would have to be evil and probably be made by Black Shadow. It would probably become the rival of Mighty Gazelle, also a lot stronger than him, but not as fast and clever. I found a picture of how I would imagine this robot to look like. Click here.
Speed Race
Who do you think would win in a race, Sonic the hedgehog or C.Falcon? Also, if any nintendo character could be in F-Zero who would you want to be in there? I would choose Falco from Star Fox because I think he would be a great F-Zero pilot and he's also falcon. -From Alex -
Falcontress85: Question 1: Falcon since Sonic will have to tire out sometime soon and the Blue Falcon can run for quite a long time…
Question 2: There are lots of suggestions that revolve around this certain topic. Some include Samus Aran, but like those who have no life but race would make up their own characters based on other Nintendo characters, like some of the characters a couple of my friends made up on the F-Zero IGN Boards
Cheap F-Zero GX
You got a great site here, MK. No question, just a comment. If I had enough money to buy F-Zero GX I would definitely come here more often! -From Osco-
Metroid Killer: Thanks a lot Osco! Maybe you can afford a copy of the game when the Players' Choice versions arrives in the stores next week.
Wolf or Lion
Is Leon really a wolf or a lion? -From Alex -
Falcontress85: Ok, this one is getting harder to answer after that one anime episode I watched… In GX, it says he’s a cat, but in the FD episode, they call him a werewolf. It’s a bit awkward, but I’m sure he’s more of a kitty than a puppy… ^^
AOL
Are one of you an AOL member -From RCzVDOgz-
Falcontress85: I’m not an AOL member, but I do have AIM and other ways of contacting me. Just check out the staff section to see what they are, but I’ll put it here since some people are too lazy to search for it themselves… AIM: Samus San Aran
Timeline Theories
Hello. I am interested in this timeline of yours. You seem to have the exact date of when F-ZERO Maximum Velocity started as me. I too think it is the year 2585. F-ZERO GX takes place in the year 2564. I did some calculating with F-ZERO, X & GX. F-ZERO is the year 2560, and that is when the accident happened. Take a look. Blood Falcon in reality is four years old and that is when the accident happened, four years ago. F-ZERO X, I found out that Draq and Roger Buster do not have their machines till F-ZERO X. In all possibility this does make sense. I even put down the year every character was born, except day and month. Those remain a mystery. F-ZERO X was the year 2563 and Blood Falcon was born in the year 2560. The beginning of rocket racing, 2201 is my calculation. I am still confused if F-MAX started in the year 2319 because in my theory, The Skull was born 2323. But I really can't be sure. But I really do hope to help you in this timeline project. It is about time the mystery unfolds. -From Anima Araria-
Falcontress85: Well, the timeline I used is completely of my imagination, except for some of them, which are based off the game manual in F-Zero X. The year 2560 is the beginning of F-Zero, the original. There were two different accidents, the Horrific Grand Finale and the Great Accident. The Horrific Grand Finale takes place during the F-MAX races, which dates before the original F-Zero. This is when the Skull died, about 200 years before, about 2360 or so. The Great Accident is a 20 years after the original F-Zero (2580), but before F-Zero X. This was when the suspension happened. During this time, Stewart uses his abilities to save everyone involved, including Captain Falcon. During the time the captain was hospitalized, this was when Black Shadow somehow managed to get his hands on a DNA sample of Falcon and creates Blood Falcon. The Blue Falcon’s engines were also stolen at this time while the crash was still burning. The Great Accident was also what killed who is now Mighty Gazelle. After the prohibition period of 3 years was taken off, F-Zero X (2583) appears. This is when the disappearances of some racers occurs, Draq and Roger get their machines, Blood Falcon makes his appearance, and the storyline begins to tie in as the other 26 racers join the original 4 to race for the prize. A year later is GX (2584), which is the time Deathborn and the 10 AX racers appear. In GX, we learn that Deathborn is responsible for the missing racers, which might also be the owners of the two vehicles that are now in the possession of Draq and Roger. A note on Blood Falcon, he’s 4 in GX, which makes him 3 in X. If I’m correct, MV takes place 100 years after F-Zero X (2684), putting that game last in the series based on time.
Yeah, this timeline thing is a bit tedious, but it fun to figure out when things happened and how it affects the future of the series. These are just rough estimates that I used since now I’m also a bit confused at when things start since I just got some of the official strategy guides. Sadly, I don’t think FD follows this timeline, but one of its own…
Encyclopedia
You said you would be done with the encyclopia a the end of March, and it still isn't up. So when is it going to be up? -From Draq-
Metroid Killer: Unfortunately I underestimated the work of the encyclopedia. I also went on two big vacations during March and April so there were a lot of stuff I had to catch up with. I'll do all I can to have it up thursday.
Special Parts
Go to the official japanese F-zero GX/AX webstite. Then to F-zero GX section, then to customize. Go to the bottom of the page to create your own machine with any of the existing parts. You will see that there is a special parts section. Do you know how to unlock those parts? -From Flavio Termine-
Metroid Killer: They can either be unlocked with an Action Replay or you could win them in some of the AX turnaments that were held in Japan.
