Smash Bag Announcements!

Metroid Killer: Well we have Mekairinek to answer some questions for the first time, be easy on her ;) Man I totally forgot to ask her what color she wants to have, so we'll just use green for now.
Thanks a lot to those of you who reported about the errors!

Deathborn's origin
Deathborn's origin in GX seems a bit confusing; his biography says that he was originally human, but he had multiple machine parts added to his body until over time, his brain was basically the only human part left. However, in Story Mode, The Creator says that Deathborn was "their greatest creation", contradicting the biography. Am I ignoring something?

Also, what exactly happens to Black Shadow after GX? If Deathborn killed him, does this mean that we won't be seeing him in future games (Aside from GP Legend, which is set in an alternate timeline)?
-From Behonkiss-

Mekairinek: Well, the F-Zero series isn't exactly known for its stellar consistency between games. (Even from X to GX, some details were changed, ailbet minor ones) But I don't think you're ignoring anything, really. I find the concept of Deathborn once being human fascinating. Then again, I don't consider Story Mode to be the gospel truth... which brings me to your next question.

EAD2
What if there was EAD2 who would look like Luigi (taller, thiner and, younger then EAD1) and his machine whould be called Great Shine and would look green.
-From RCzVDOgz-

Mekairinek: Hmmm... you might be onto something there. =] Though one question: Would he have a Poltergust 3000? ;)

Metroid Killer: Well your idea screams out Nintendo. I mean, just take a quick look at Pikmin and you'll see a semi cameo of the mario brothers. Clever idea ;)

Legos!
I invented 4 of my own vehicles: Saphire Crab, Magma Scorpion, Diamond Seal and Stone Walrus. I made legos of them, so I will take photos of them and put them on your fan art section as soon as I can!
-From Flavio Termine-

Metroid Killer: I can't wait to see them! Rossi just submitted some lego models himself (in the Fan Stuff section), so maybe even more people will start making these F-Zero lego models ;)

Blood vs. Blue
You might recall a time back that I asked the question of who would win in a duel between Captain Falcon and Blood Falcon.

But now, which would win in a 2-craft race : Blood / Hell Hawk, or the Blue Falcon?

Also, a tip for a decent Custom craft : The Combat Cannon Cockpit part is probably the Best cockpit out of the GX parts (available on UK F-ZERO GX at least). I say this because :-

It's lighter than the Garnent Phantom (620kg v 640kg)

It's also an A-grade Grip

On the pie-chart of body, accel, cornering and max speed, it can grant upto 1.5 / 5 more spec on Body and possibly cornering too than the Garnet Phantom. :)
-From Fox Blue-

Mekairinek: Ohh deathmatch questions, I love these! (Not sure about MK though, heh heh) Let me see... Well, I'd have to say Blue Falcon would win, but if you're doing something like this IRL, well... it's all up to the skill of the players. =]

I don't use custom machines, but I'm sure others will appreciate the tip. Thanks for sharing! ^_^

Metroid Killer: I would have to disagree. Eventhough Captain Falcon always wins it's mostly because of his driving skills. You might recall that the Blood Falcon uses one of the Blue Falcon's engines and it was made for the purpose to beat Captain Falcon, the only problem is that Blood Falcon isn't as good Captain Falcon. So in my opinion the Blood Hawk would win if they were driven by euqal pilots.

Mistake
Hello, its me again. I wonder why you didnīt mention one of the biggest mistakes in the game ever. In Story Modus Chapter 7 "The Grand Prix" Captain Falcon is talking to Black Shadow. However, in one scene we can see the starting grid formation. And surprise, James McCloud, who starts on position Nr. 3 is now standing
direct in front of the Black Bull. That would mean that Black Shadow has to start from position 9 and Falcon would be position 8.
-From illumino-

Mekairinek: Ahhh... brain hurting! =| I said this earlier, but... F-Zero and consistency are about as compatable as a Mario game on the Xbox. XD

F-Zero X rom
Do you know where I can get the F-Zero X rom for Project 64 emulator? I did find a site where I could get it, but it was split into two files, which I don't know how to make them one file.
-From Flavio Termine-

Metroid Killer: Sorry but roms for Nintendo games are illegal and we do not support it.

Outer Space
The music of outer space doesn't work. :(
-From Flavio Termine-

Metroid Killer: Not anymore ;)

Monster Trouble
In you're "monster" section regarding the monstor F-Zero AX "monster". You list it as using a Naomi 2 board. The regular F-Zero AX machines use the Tri-Force arcade hardware based on the gamecube but more powerful. I was under the impression that the "monster" machine would use this hardware too. Why would they use different hardware for the same version of a game placed in a different machine? Also the Naomi 2 hardware is much more primitive than the Tri-force hardware. Maybe you are confused in the fact that Sega made the naomi/dreamcast gdrom reader compatible with the Tri-force hardware? Thanks in advance.
-From Jaketheedwarf-

Metroid Killer: Well you are absolutely right. I don't know why but I guess I'd seen the "Naomi 2 board" somewhere when I did the research for the page and my mind must accidentially have let that info in ;) It is indeed the Tri-Force that is being used for F-Zero AX Monster Ride.
