Cosmo Terminal - Hi-tech elevator reaching space
World info: This cosmopolitan terminal uses hi-tech elevators which ties the ground with space. It is considered as the new mode of transportation where it substitutes the tracked elevator. Presently, the construction has reached a height of 86,000km, but because the budget is exceeded substantially, construction has a rough going. In such a circumstance, the F-ZERO Execution Project constructs the circuit coercively inside the elevator. |
Cup: Diamond
Difficulty: ***
Length: 22410m
Staff Ghost: 2'58"650 (Black Bull)
Strategy: Basically you want a very top maxspeed on your machine, ideally black bull, with maxspeed setting. Here are strategies for each area of the course:
First Trident - Take the far-right route on lap 1, making sure you hit both zippers. Hug the right hand side of the track, but watch the edge. Its easy to suddenly cruise off. On lap 2 and 3 take the centre route, hitting the zipper, boosting as much as possible and getting the energy. Use Drift Turns if needed.
Second Trident - Ok, this is the important one. On Lap 1, take the centre route. You have to be able to switch courses well to get a good time. You will see a zipper on another track cutting under yours. Fall off and land on the zipper, and avoid losing speed on the transfer. Ok do that on every lap, and then keep on this track and grab the health before entering the next phase. On lap 1 however, you wont need the health, so watch out for another zipper and fall off the right hand side of the track at the appopriate time, again avoid losing speed.
Third Trident - The Jump. Take the centre route here. Hit the zipper and aim to gain and keep as much speed as possible on your landing. Grab the health and away you go.
Final Trident - Take the right-hand route. Its quicker than the rest. Grab the zipper, keep to the inside. Theres a small jump at the end and a final straight to the finish.
Always Always boost ALL the time on this scenario.
Interesting note: You can find various info on the blue Space Elevator Information board nea the end of the course. |
