I said HE doesn't seem aas competitive as i'd hoped.. along with a few other characters, I never said the GAME wasn't compettive *sry for wording it wrong <_<*

Adding a character isn't what triggers my thoughts about the game, it's the fact that his moves seem like the exact OPPOSITE of what (in my opinion) would make the game good, he seems more childish, and less competitive.

In fact, I don't deny it, I LIKE melee, and it's not like I can stop myself, it's more of a subconscious thing. And it's mostly because, I worked so hard to get even CLOSE to decent in ssbm, and now, everyones demanding change? Everyone wants to switch to Brawl all of a sudden, I just hoped...

Thats Exactly what I thought... I thought that Brawl looks less competitive then melee, I guess it's the moves that characters have, maybe the fact that the graphics make it look childish. But, for whatever reason, I HOPED melee would still be played for any of those facts. And if anyones going...

yea, I guess so, melee does have to die off someday. I'm gonna miss it though. Guess I'll just have to wait til I get brawl and adapt to that. But, what about tournaments, they can't just like.. stop, like Foe said, but, how long do you think it will last?

umm... I just have one thing to add, and I do it alot against more offensive people.. I waveshield into a shieldgrab sometimes as an approach, just fogured I might add that.. sry if it was mentioned already
