QFT Its still fair, even if you throw a smash ball. Its not like DDD gets it instantly.. and he's relatively slow.

Well this has its uses too.. it stops jigglypuff's roll, yoshi's roll, both of sonic's rolls (FS, DS) and one of squirtles. Besides, on maps like the mario brother's one (Can't remember the name, it has blue floors. Its old school.) you can unescapably spit them into the side.

It isn't amazing enough to use by itself but as an occasional surprise move, it hits surprisingly often. New Rhammer shuffle + Turnswing + High jumps all make it worthy enough for once a game at least.

Important to note: If you get a capsule when you've got items entirely disabled (Not set to NONE appearance, but literally turned off.) you will make a throw animation and get nothing but a puff of smoke. Its basically a stun for the enemy to hit you :\ Pretty rare, though, so its no big issue.

You basically hold the control stick to the left/right.. only very very slightly. Its almost at the default control stick position, slightly tilted. Just keep trying it, eventually youll get it. It has nothnig to do with 'down' on the control stick at all ps: works with nonrumble...
