The instructions for the ranking specifically said to consider Customs off but Miis with access to all moves. Which is dumb, you cannot allow Miis to have all of their moves and deny Palutena.

I've been using MK in tourney recently and doing better against Rosa than I do with Diddy. I think MK slightly beats Rosalina. It helps that MK up-throw on Rosa anywhere near Luma throws Luma way off stage. She's really easy to trap with Tornado too.

I fell through frickin Lylat Cruise a couple weeks ago and we've been playing on that stage without with minimal complaints for years. Legit recovered on top of the stage as Greninja then fell through and died. I have the replay.

So looking over the last page or two, it seems to be a good thing I brought up this best of 5 set stage counterpicking nonsense since no one can agree on a consistent answer. Glad it's not just me at least. Also no one has answered the "who counterpicks the music?" question yet.

I was just thinking about our set last month and came to this thread to see you already asked this. Seeing that no one answered it though I'd like to bring it up again. Who chooses the music on a counterpick stage? As silly as it is back in the Brawl days I would sometimes counterpick a stage...

Pivot walking is really easy in this game if you use a tilt cstick. Hold A, walk, tap the tilt-stick in the opposite direction of your walk. I know Link and Palutena can do it, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone could (I also wouldn't be surprised if Mega Man can't because of his weird jab).

I honestly can't wait for the day customs become the standard. I won a fairly sizeable local tourney yesterday (still surprised we got so many people for a local: http://goes.challonge.com/SSB4_WiiU_03) using Diddy Kong and taking out @DavemanCozy along the way (he got me in Winners' though)...

I can vouch for this. I was there and the Diddy that Ray played in finals was Trulliam who is a very good player. The Ganon side-b tech traps were awesomely disgusting.
