    Does anyone feel like...

It has better area coverage if your opponent is recovering low. It also (if I'm not mistaken) has a landing hit box, so it's good for covering the ground

Best way of learning Melee competitively?

I personally feel that you have to learn fundamentals before getting into tech skill. When i first started I felt I was trying too hard to do all these wacky techs and I lost often because of that. The goal is to be smart, not have fast fingers. Understand concepts like reading rolls, baiting...

Best way of learning Melee competitively?

Tech skill at first, at least for me, seemed to get in the way from learning fundamentals. I felt I was trying too hard to do all these crazy combos. I recommend working on getting smart at the game. Ie reading rolls, understanding baiting / punishing, shield grabbing. Tech skill is for...

    Marth MU

Dash dancing and spacing is a godsend in this matchup. Marths tend to use fair and up air too much, you can easily punish it if they aren't landing with it. He's floaty, you can combo floaties like it's second nature. If you're getting tippered you're not spacing correctly. Don't ever, EVER...

    The Weaknesses of Captain Falcon

Captain falcon is either destroying the openent or he himself is getting destroyed, there doesn't seem to be an in-between. Bad recovery and is disgustingly momentum based. Heavy fast faller makes him combo food.

    The Kirby Matchup Thread

Fox is a hard matchup mainly because if he so much as sneezes on kirby it's a star ko With Fox you have to live life on the edge. Don't try to challenge anything that fox has, you'll be sliced up in seconds. The best way to handle him is to coerce him off the ledge, or punish his approaches...

    The Kirby Matchup Thread

It's in Kirby's favor mainly because if falcos even slightly offstage that's a stock. Falco has to depend heavily on his dair and nair and stay grounded as much as possible to avoid getting knocked off. 65-35 for Kirby imo

    Does anyone feel like...

I feel he plays a lot like 64 Pikachu but now with a little more flair because of qac. Pikachu remains as one of the more balanced characters and he doesn't have flair because of that.

    Skull Bash...why?

Skull bash should have misfires like luigi.

    The Kirby Matchup Thread

The only set up I've seen is dthrow to upair and laser to side b > nair

    The Kirby Matchup Thread

Small stages so rob doesn't have much room to make a wall. Warioware is my usual counter pick

    The Kirby Matchup Thread

I think the ROB matchup is in kirby's favor, mainly because of how much Kirby destroys floaty heavyweights. He does require a bit of baiting and the trolltop can be annoying. Inhale doesn't work in this matchup, take his lasers and use it against him. It's really good against his recovery. Dair...

    Advice for playing Kirby

Lucario loses to crouch cancelling HARD. Some of Lucarios attacks whiff when Kirby ducks, and dtilt is an amazing tool to poke that furry out of your happy bubble. Kirby doesn't have amazing approach options, so you often times have to bait out an attack. Lucarios so commonly go for dash attack...

I need serious help dealing with Kirby's Dash Attack

Well with 3.5 here now the best way to deal with Kirby's dash is to shield and then IMMEDIATELY grab as it hits you. There is a small frame window between each of the three hit boxes, and if you grab in that window, you can grab Kirby out of the animation. It makes them think twice about it.
