I might try this someday, just to see what happens. A small throwaway weekly or an internal team bracket would be the best starting point IMO. Also in b4 the L-Cancel debate again. This is like the abortion issue of the Smash Bros community.

It's been going for a little over a month, which is when I started running the tournament. You can bring food to your car, but you can't bring it inside, seeing as the venue is a chinese restaurant. You can buy the food there though; it's quite good!

Oh I wasn't speifically talking about dtilt, rather his entire kit. He got gutted for sure but he still has well defined strengths in his down throw, dash dance, up smash, and distance he can reach to for gimps/edgeguards. Just because top top players abandoned him doesn't mean he'a useless...

I'd like to hear those reasons; I think Pit is heavily underutilized and his current potential is therefore untapped. He's likely underrated too, although I'm unsure of how much so.

Going to advocate for King K Rool and Sami. Pokemon trainer could maybe be cloned for switching capability between her and Andy? I didn't read the 22,000+ messages, but don't discredit the possibility of King K Rool being modeled from scratch. The PMDT has rendered Mewtwo from scratch only...

This is a supreme guide! I'm glad to see documented analysis of followups and optimal DI on a per character basis; it's such a huge part of the game and really impacts how well a player performs. Thanks for doing this for us! :)

I'll edit that into the post, but the entry fee is $3. I'm usually coming up with ways to have it waived, for example if you attend a monthly the night before or bring/refer a friend to their first Super Dragon Sunday.

Did I misspeak? When I said "per move per character" I really meant "judge what it gets applied to on a per move per character basis", and not "globally". Sorry about that; a global change to hitstun like that would be super excessive IMO.

Perhaps add the ability for certain moves on the fatties to cancel out of hitstun after a certain amount of frames? So for instance, if NAIR could cancel hitstun as soon as frame 50, then you can effectively clip guaranteed combo strings against them, or at least make the player facing them...
