I think this is probably an appropriate thread to quote Snake himself on this topic. During his Codec conversation about Link: "Gear is only useful when used at the right time and place. Just lugging a ton of it around doesn't do you any good." Which is true for his various moves and tricks :)

yeah, the c4 trick is definitely a life saver, definitely worth learning.

yeah, I've done that a couple of times. It's actually pretty effective and less risky than trying to go up to your opponents, try and stick c4 on them only to get smashed in the face.

great guide! I've also come up with a different method, too. Dunno if this has already been posted: - light toss a grenade by tapping back - jump up after it and catch it at the peak of it's throw - doing the fair while catching the grenade, it'll explode almost right when you hit the ground...
