Found an inherent issue with dual 1v1 mode, if it hasn't been reported already. When the first guy loses his stocks and gets eliminated, he can still steal his teammate's lives and come back.

You can use a savestate in dolphin, hotkeys make it super easy. Or just push the pause button and leave it minimized.

True, but 99% of the time the standard ruleset is used, and if tournaments want to make their own rule, you just ignore the default of what it says (notice how the stage choices themselves are based on the standard ruleset, when you press Y). Having the standard listed is better than nothing?...

Alternatively, the developers of dolphin could add an option to disable reflections. There're already a lot of advanced graphics options and it would make sense to cater to their largest audience.
