First - we literally do not know if up throw up air is a thing at all So side b still does a grip of damage, does a lot of knockback, and yknowwww.... you can grab from the air. That's a real good thing. Idk at what point it was "the only thing keeping him from being completely horrible" and...

mac has absolutely no shot at TOP tier placement, he might be better, but without a throw combo (or even reliable setup) or an even sort of reasonably threatening air attack, he's going to still have serious shortcomings against a lot of the cast. I'm excited about this character also, can't...

If it trips reliably with browsers run speed that would be real nice - you can even grab a tripped opponent so if it works that's just extra percent eyyy

It looks very unlikely that the fsmash is guaranteed after that dtilt trip, but it DOES look like you could follow up with lots of other things. Could you jab lock off trips in smash 4 or just missed techs

y'all realize the "buff" to mac's ground game (being able to jab/tilt/whatever out of dash) is just going to make people not want to be on the ground level with him even more than before right? Without some sort of air pressure tool or approach option that way he's still gonna have MASSIVE...
