How do you guys do right-facing retreating AC Fairs?

I've done that without thinking about it from time to time but I didn't think it was that reliable. That seems like the best option, if I can get the hang of it.

How do you guys do right-facing retreating AC Fairs?

Presently, I have X bound to shield, because I think easy powershields might be a really big deal for ganon if I get good at em, but I'll give that a try if I get desperate. Thanks for the suggestion. That does feel like a pretty good step up from clawing Y, at least.

How do you guys do right-facing retreating AC Fairs?

Yeah, Squints has got it. I was just about to say the same thing. And yeah, telu, you might be right. I haven't looked at the detailed numbers. Still, with the SHFFL, I spend my lag stationary, grounded, and in a more obvious, punishable state that people are really used to exploiting as "this...

How do you guys do right-facing retreating AC Fairs?

Yeah that's what I mean. So you use the c-stick for it? I just have a lot of trouble getting my right thumb from Y to the top of the c-stick fast enough for the AC. Doing it while facing left, I can just slide my thumb off of Y and across the c-stick. So I was just wondering if anyone had a...

How do you guys do right-facing retreating AC Fairs?

Idk how to do it without clawing or changing my controller config. And I'm super bad at switching in and out of clawing mid-match. Anyone got any ancient hidden family technique they could share with me? kinda awkward to ask such a small question on such a slow board but w/e. I'm fighting the...

Handful of 3.6beta bugs I've noticed

Sorry. I don't have much time today, and I thought it'd be better to get these reported in their current state than not at all.

Handful of 3.6beta bugs I've noticed

Yeah, I interpreted that as fixing the situation that caused you to change direction without sending the charge shot in the new direction my bad on the alt stages. I just didnt think of that.

Handful of 3.6beta bugs I've noticed

Can no longer press L to switch pages on the stage select screen Short musical flourish that plays between rounds (during the time the announcer is saying the names of the characters you'll be fighting) in classic mode no longer plays Waiting on that screen for several seconds caused a crash (I...

Floating to the Top v3.6: The Ganondorf Match Up Thread

Jabbing shields is fun. I like the glass-like sound shields make when struck. My group has come to know my jab-jab-jabing of people's shields as "tappin dat glass". Occasionally associated with shouts of "KNOCK KNOCK"

Hopefully this goes without saying, but SDI is pivotal in escaping his combos. If you have bad DI you will be zero-to-death'd pretty consistently. I've faced only about two good Lucases in tourney, and by god they were some of the hardest-won sets of my life. As far as the neutral goes, all I...

    N64 Controllers discussion

I'm about to order a Derek stick, cause I don't play competitive 64 but I still play my N64 now and then and my controller is beyond use in even the most casual capacity. But I still know and can perform most necessary Smash64 ATs, so I'll be able to provide another opinion in about a week's...

I was looking a couple pages back and apparently you're just starting? Okay well yeah Dorf is pretty popular but that's because he's very fun. But he's also the struggle if you're trying to win. At least he was in 3.0 but idk, now that's less so. falco/sheik will still mess you up though. He...

Hm maybe. I fancy myself a bit of an artist so I feel obligated to throw something together, even if it's placeholder but I suck at coloring and shading. you have anything in mind?
