Hey y'all, I've been maining Bowser competitively since March last year, and it's getting tough to get very far at all, my best so far is 3-2. I start every set w/Bowser, but since there are so many projectile spammers and swordies that just cancel out Bowser, I usually lose the first match...

I come from Midwest, currently maining bowser, trying to whip a banjo kazooie into shape. I eat, sleep, and play smash.

It's less about knowing when something is true, and more about knowing how they mash. I always up tilt to start, and go for full hop fair afterwards if they're super good at mashing. Up smash is good though if you really need a kill, like in a last stock last hit situation.

town and city is great for banjo, I secondary him and like to have a lot of space to lay grenade eggs, so having such a long stage is helpful.

Bowser is one of Ultimate's most situational high-tiers. If you come across a bad mu, i suggest grinding it out on Anther's Ladder or picking up a secondary. worst matchups are rob, yl, link, pac man and bayo

u throw is not the beast it once was in sm4sh, but it is still one of bowser's greatest tools. It works till about 50 percent depending on character weight. if they di in or don't di at all you can uair afterwards. if they di out you can forward air. Must active hop for it to work
