    What happened was that you don't have to reserve to sign up. However, you'll have to walk in to the store and sign a sheet ahead of time. They would not sign me up over the phone, so I think you'll have to make a trip.

    The Gamestop tourney requires you to sign up ahead of time, and is not just walk-in and play as assumed to be. You have to first sign up for it, and sign in before the tourney itself. You know, just in case anyone wanted to go.
