    It is so annoying trying to edgeguard and getting snapped to ledge, falling to the blastzone because the hook went "lödge" instead of grabbing the character or straight up missing hooks even though you are mere inches away.

    If you hang on ledge, drop then up-b at the right time, you can perform a wall jump which allows you a few more options such as Side B (which covers a great range and lands you onstage if done correctly). or bair. No clue what the applications are but I've decided to call this tech a hook jump.

    Generally I try to not go offstage with any of the gun moves unless I have a jump. The jump usually cancels it immediantly and you can go for an up-b recovery asap.
