agreed, ledgehop bair is very useful because it threatens them, over the void with no wall to tech off of. It can also lead to mindgaming them through empty ledgehops that lead into whatever works, nair, edgehog, dair, etc.. you can also do angled fairs, those are great for sniping people...

he is alive and well. I saw him last weekend at a norcal biweekly. He didnt compete, but he was there. I dont know his status though, whether or not he is still playing or not. Though most people say he doesnt try anymore. I guess everything is so much clearer from the top =P

what about people who are close to the edge. not close enough for uair, but far enough away that they an still hit you if you try to fair. like a marth camping just outside fair range. you cant edgehop the neutral b either, otherwise its a fsmash to the face. what then?

dont forget the boost grab, since you are dash grabbing anyway, boost grab to give yourself extra range. its like a JC grab, but instead you perform the dash attack and quickly press L or R right after. it is situational, but can help if the opponent is far away.

I was reading cunning kitsune's guide to fox and the guide mentions another method of grabbing called the boost grab. I was wondering, does this eliminate the use of JC grab alltogether? it looks like it goes further, but fox still performs the running grab animation. just wondering if the...

you have to get used to the timing for wall jumping right away. otherwise you could just hug the wall and wait a bit. its much easier.

i can see it now, the samus crew combo vid would consist of 3 sami wavebombing a poor bowser. LOL. then finishing with a triple chargeshot and 2 powershields.
