    Should I play this again?

I started playing the game competitively 6 months ago when my best friend brought a CRT and a modded Wii to the gaming club at my school and invited everyone to play some melee, at first I didn't want to play it cause I felt I'd lose really hard but then he thought me about a 1-hit KO move, the...

    Community

Like the previous poster said, every community has people like that but from what I can tell most people are pretty nice and open about listening to other peoples opinion. Sorry you had a bad experience, hope it doesn't scare you from trying to go to tournaments and getting better.

It's difficult to consistently do ledge dashes with fox

Fox's ledge dash is like the easiest one in the game, but I think it might be how you refresh the ledge (double jumping to ledge, or firebird refresh)

    Tips for a newbie Sheik

Maybe the nest step in learning competitive smash is wavedashing, thats what I learned after understanding to L-cancel I think. Also, if you have a non laggy monitor for a pc or a laptop with mininal response time you can play better melee than a flatscreen.

Looking Out and Punishing Player Tendencies?

I wasn't calling our community bad as in skill, just that its small and not much variety. No need to come in a friendly post and try to aggressively call out someone trying to get better by posting my first tournament where I lost to 2 very good players. Calm down, lol.

Looking Out and Punishing Player Tendencies?

Yeah, that what I'm trying to do but my scene is smaller and there is a less variety of player styles here in Puerto Rico so what I can learn from the players here is very limited.

Looking Out and Punishing Player Tendencies?

Damn, a comprehensive list like this was actually exactly what I was looking out, thank you so much.

Looking Out and Punishing Player Tendencies?

What player tendencies should I be looking out for and punishing? I usually try to find out how an opponent acts under pressure, how aggressive they are, how they like to land, among other things, but I still feel I can broaden my knowledge of these by asking the community so what do you guys...

    Sheik Skype Thread?

I'm a bit new to melee but It would be great to be in contact with people who know a lot about my main, Sheik, who I could contact and learn from. If there is a Skype thread, I'd like to know if I could be invited. My skype is Mew2Kid.
