The Super Smash Brothers League (SSBL)

I apologize for missing my match, I lost my laptop over the weekend and I don't have another computer with Windows installed.

I guess it is something to practice then. How hard is it to use to avoid a specific attack? It seems like a far better strategy than crouch canceling and it doesn't seem like it would be that much harder than a parry. Are there any videos of it being used in application?

Watching the Peru videos I noticed that Isai tends to shield before jumping. Are there reasons for doing this (other than the shield being essentially "free" and unpunishable)? Is it worth making a habit of? I imagine the reasons are similar to plat drops, I am just wondering if someone has...

isai vs peru videos are up

Team attack off means the lone person when it gets down to 2vs1 has almost zero chance of pulling through. Having it on makes the games so much more exciting, I have no idea why anyone would play with it off.

Just watched the first two Peru matches, now I am going to go practice some pika. [EDIT]: After watching the second pika ditto I think Nesscozmoz has superior spacing, but Isai's combos pulled the win.

The Super Smash Brothers League (SSBL)

I kinda dropped the ball on my game game with clubba this week. I had a hectic schedule and ended up leaving for the weekend, so I definitely should take the loss.

The Super Smash Brothers League (SSBL)

This late into the season most of the matches are less even than early on. If you look at the first ten pages you can find a lot more 3-2 matches.

Mario Discussion: OP is a bad person

While this topic is active, what are some good mario vids to watch? I have seen all of the obvious ones (isai/boom/red mario/nintendude) are there some good lesser known ones (or any good ones from Peru)?

Still can't play online! help plz!

Are you able to run this bundle? I have had that exact problem with certain versions/builds but this one has always worked for me. It might not work on Vista though, I know there are a couple of different problems that you can run in to.

Is VE the only build that will run for you? I was running a version that had the exact same problem (no network issues, running ~50fps online, fine offline), but switching to Dandan's bundle solved it for me.

I am surprised at how low DK is on all those lists, I would put him at S tier fun.

I play just fine without lag on 22kB/s up, bandwidth is not the problem (even if you meant Mb/s, that is still enough).
