Pit 3.5 videos. Regaining faith in our hero

It seemed like you were very impatient the entire set. The very first stock of the first game where you steamrolled him, that was due to patience in neutral. You waited, backed off and grabbed him to begin techchasing, into combos, into eventually closing the stock. On that, for DK you either...

Yeah, it's retardedly precise pretty much the whole time, especially at low %s, 'cause against real people you have to react to the DI very quickly. It's possible, just very very hard.

Yeah, but it's more of a global glitch. Some characters have it worse than others, most prominently Bowser, but Yoshi's got it worse than normal too. It happens when you move a long disatnce and snap to the ledge. Something weird goes on with collision boxes and it pops you off.

I've done it on CPU wolf for quite a while, like, up to 130% with no DI by switching to dthrow around 60ish I think

    Yoshi VODs

I don't think there's a thread for combos, might be interesting to make one I know that Yoshi, when very precise with pivot grabs and such, can *I think* chaingrab spacies to pretty high %s with uthrow. I think. I haven't tested it much, only messed around a bit. If you can land them it can be...

Unofficial Yoshi Bug and Interaction Report Thread

But why? So we can all have a place to circlejerk about how bad you want to pretend Yoshi is because of a couple glitches? How is that productive? I suppose it could be a place for people to look to see if they've run into something new, but there's something called a search function in the bug...

Up-air is guaranteed most of the time, same with nair. Up-air has amazing followups. Nair can have some if DJCed, but it's better used to get people off stage and start edgeguarding them or as a DI mixup between upair to kill.

Fair after dthrow should only be used as a mixup anyways. It's very, very, very not safe unless they're expecting something completely different.

    Yoshi's Overall Design

Eggroll has so much more, though. It can be used to mix up approaches, techchase, and if you hit it, combo into pretty much anything. It's pretty decent in some ways, though it's not a very consistently reliable option to use offensively. Definitely for mixup only, else you'll get grabbed or...

What are all the Yoshi bugs?

Also if you roll on frame 1 of shield, your shield doesn't visually decay. It still breaks, but it appears a nice white the whole time.

Trigger jump. I personally use Z to jump. Allows you to jump and attack with different parts of your hand, overall gives you more control over what you're doing.

Q&A New to Yoshi? (or not) Ask your questions here!

I'm not sure if it's the best option, but something I find incredibly useful in those kinds of matchups are eggs. Throw some eggs and disrupt their movement and spammy stuff. Run under the eggs to threaten their space and wait for them to panic and make a mistake. Or, if you see the chance and...

Q&A New to Yoshi? (or not) Ask your questions here!

There was a shield flicker indication for this in Melee, but here, you just kinda gotta watch the lag I guess. Get a feel for how hard each move hits. Easy answer: Don't approach. Harder and riskier answer: Fair their shield really close to the ground and then pressure properly from there. Jabs...
