    Scrub question

In my experience, it's generally not a true combo. You have to wait until the peak of your jump, fair, fast fall, and then do another dtilt once you hit the ground. If you get the fair 1 or dtilt it's pretty fast so you can usually get it once before they react to it, but it's mostly just a...

    Young Link Hand Speed Drill

I generally see Young Link played at a pretty slow pace, which is fine, I believe that it's important to be able to slow down the match as Young Link, but I also feel that he has a lot of speed that would be useful to help apply a lot of pressure onto your opponents. I started doing a drill that...

What do you do on shield?

I've been experimenting with pressuring with an aerial or two, and then using a grounded up b since it can poke shields. I don't know if this is actually useful or just a neat trick though. Also bombs can let you get away with shenanigans sometimes. You can throw bomb up or z drop it before it...

    Young Link Secondaries

I've been playing a lot of Young Link, and I really like him, but I struggle really hard against characters that can easily deal with projectiles, like characters with reflectors. I don't know how I should go about dealing with this. Does anyone have any tips for how I could adapt my Young Link...

Peach has zero to death combos

I actually think that this is alright. These combos seem pretty hard to pull off, and their setups don't really seem that reasonable to hit in a match, plus different combos are used for different characters due to things like height and weight. So if a player were to get one of these specific...

I Just Got Into Smash About 2 Years Ago, And Have Invested 600 Hours Across SSBU, Sm4sh, And SSBM. Should I Try Going To A Local?

You absolutely will get bodied. But you should still look into a local scene for sure. Happens to everybody when they first start competing in tourneys. It doesn't feel good to lose, of course, but it's a necessary evil in order for you to get better and start winning.

How to punish out of shield?

One thing that you can do is up b OoS. It's a neat option select, because when you press up b while holding shield it doesn't do anything, unless your shield gets hit. So if they commit onto your shield or try a block string that you think you can break, up b is pretty good and easy to do. Plus...

    Young Link Kill Confirms

I found one that looks pretty cool, albeit it's not super practical. You can land first hit of back air off of a z dropped bomb, which combos into up smash, killing at a little over 100.

Make assumptions about the next person

Nope. The next person just skipped to the end of the thread to see what they could comment.

How do I deal with Projectile Characters?

A lot of players have a kind of pattern to their projectiles. If you stay back and block for a little bit just to observe what they're doing, you might start to guess what moves they'll be throwing out and you can work on dodging accordingly. ALSO, since you play Incineroar, when you think...

Young Link Arrow Onto Stage From Ledge

I was just playing around with some Young Link options in training mode and found an option that could potentially be useful with some work. I found a way to land onstage from ledge while using an arrow to cover you. To do this, you have to start by dropping from the ledge you're holding onto...
