I was playing a Gold Ike on the Pal version of SSBB and this guy was a hacker as he had his USB Gecko connected, he pressed down a few times then only he was fast and everyone was normal, then at one point my controller was desabled. so there are hacks that can speed up Wi-Fi mode :(

A possible fix to this and the random disconnection is to set a Static IP in your router, then input it to the wii in advance setting, this would also mean that you would need to enter your primary DNS, ask your admin if you don’t know what your doing. Hope this helped
