    You can message your friends, but I'm not sure if they will get the notification in-game or not. The messaging system works through Miiverse. I usually set-up my friend games through 3rd party chat engines, or texting, etc.

    Honestly, even if the rule-set in For Fun bugs you, you can always set the rules the way you want in the With Friends mode...

    I cannot confirm it on my own, but Ike's Aether Spike seems to have been amplified and made easier to do. Umm... Using up-smash out of a dash is now impossible or very hard to do? :(

    I too play Ike, but I hardly ever lose to Sheik or Greninja. They often are way too aggressive, and I forward smash them, winning the match.

    Do you use Fair often and connect with it often in the match? If so, it may be getting stale moved. Eruption though can be tricky to time against high level opponents, who will stall their recoveries, and not leave much error in their recovery.

    I don't recall it being so prevalent before, but Ike has super-armor on his forward-smash now? o.O Sheik has hit me when I've used my forward smash, but I did not flinch, and she went flying...

    It should only take five or so minutes. I do believe there have been changes, as my previous post states... Nothing major in the sense of shield lag increasing or anything like that, but perhaps subtle changes.
