In Melee Luigi was a semi-clone... he had the most unique moveset of the clones, but still shared a few animations and traits that Mario had, I'd say he was teetering between original and clone status, hence the arguments... The way I see it is that we should all expect that Luigi will be back...

The only thing I'm not excited about is the slowed down, floatier gameplay. I'm sure I'll get used to it in no time at all and grow to like it, but I've always liked the fast paced feel to Melee.

Yea me and PIRO were on TV 4, which I believe didn't tape anything from my understanding... too bad, that was the finals and semi's as well... Next tournament we'll have to plan a little better with the match taping if we do I guess. Definitely gonna check these vids out though!

Well Peach wasn't completely broken, but yes the down smash had way too much priority and could be a huge threat to an opponent who uses a lot of crouch cancelling. Sure, you can grab someone who spams it, but that doesn't mean the move has heavy priority and can deal serious damage...
