You don't have to connect it to a computer. You can connect it directly to a router with an ethernet cord.

If you have facebook, try to search for a group dedicated to smash in your area. Search something like "san diego smash ultimate" and a group might pop up. In the group they should have mentioned all the events that happen near there. Hope this is helpful!

So one of the things that kills me most in smash is getting stage spiked. But I know you can wall tech when you hit the stage. I'm just really bad at this. I'm good at ground teching but that's about it. So Smashboards, what are some good ways to practice teching for stage spikes?

When i'm playing as or against icies the cpu climber (Nana) seems to get launched further then the player climber (Popo) with the same move. Is Nana lighter than Popo? Doesn't really change anything, just curious because thats what it seems like sometimes.

It's knockback sends opponents direcrly to the side with pretty good distance. When used off-stage it seems to ruin many characters recoveries. It seems good, but people and cpu's may just be bad. Is Fox's reflecter/shine a good edgegaurd tool? Or only against characters with bad recoveries?

My GSP is kimda low overall. I think I know why but it kinda makes me kinda feel bad about my skill. But I know that GSP isn't the best ranking system, so would you say that GSP doesn't really show how good you are?
