I remember once dreaming up something where you'd select which special move you wanted to use after inhaling someone by selecting a direction (kind of like how SSBU shulk selects arts.) It'd be pretty convoluted and take up a lot of development time, though.

Doc having insane killpower in exchange for the really good mobility most characters have in this game sounds neat.

I think the trainer is designed this time so that you can solo main one character pretty much fine, though. Losing your down-b kinda sucks but apart from that it seems to be fine.

The phrasing is actually what makes me think he's disconfirmed - Specifically saying that he couldn't include him so they made a mii costume sounds pretty final to me. I could be wrong, though.

They often have a lot of lag afterwards, so if you whiff them you can be punished easily. They're usually slower to start up too, so it's hard to actually land them.

I don't feel like its inclusion means that the "floodgates are open" or that it's detracted from what it means for a character to be in smash. I think this is very much a one-off thing, as a joke/wtf pick for a character. As for his actual character, he looks.... Interesting. I'll try playing...

Desyncs still definitely still exist, just usually not out of grabs that most aren't used to.
