Not really, if they're planking just get off the stage. Don't sit on the edge trying to dtilt them or something stupid. Jump up and around (you can fly dammit) and poke at the ledge with fairs or dairs and fight him off the stage.

Something that hasn't been addressed (I don't think?) is what to do when you get hit by a nanner... sometimes I'll roll away really quick and not stay tripped for long but I dont know what this is, is there any way to lower the time spent on the ground after tripping on a nanner?

Honestly, I would love to know what to do against diddy's bananas. The best I can do is if he throws one and we're both on the ground, SL OoS and itll most likely hit him, but this gets predictable and sometimes doesnt work if the diddy grabs fast enough. Staying in the air is trouble for me...
