I don't know a lot about Lucas but ness is not that hard, you have the edgeguard advantage by a lot, the only problem is his Upsmash on the ledge, you have to mixup the amazing recovery that inkling has to prevent ness from killing you with that. You should use grenade and splattershot to bait...

I think the single platform stages like smashville and Yoshis are good for the inkling, you can extend combos, punish landings on the platform this aerials/bombs/splattershot and you can use it to make it a little easier to recharge ink, also they are not that big so you can rushdown characters...

Both are important Nintendo characters and they were requested by the fans a lot, also Inklings would be really good publicity for Splatoon. Why do you think they are not here, what other characters were really would options and why they didn't make it?
