Well, I can't think of another move that can do that to you even with Team Damage turned off. But of course, I'm pretty newby to everything so I'm sure there's more :/

Since I only have one question, I guess I'll put it in here: How do you short hop so consistently? If I'm not actively thinking about how I'm going to press the C button for a quarter of a second, I end up hitting it too hard and my character doesn't short hop. Its not that I CAN'T short up...

Any chance you're still selling these? I just got back into SSB64 when I discovered my N64 while moving into my new apartment, but unfortunately I still am using the same sticks I first got the N64. Needless to say, they're more than a bit worn.
