I know that Fair is the best for momentum canceling since it pulls out the fastest.

This doesn't mean anything, not all IC players are the same, its possible he wasn't handling the situation correct at all, where most good IC's would. He could have been sandbagging, most people do in friendlies at tourney's.

Its pretty hard to get off an arrow in between IC's ice if you are just shielding or spot-dodging, but i'm not positive. and i'm pretty sure Uthrow does ~11%, while Fthrow does ~9%, i can't find the thread that carries this information right now, but Uthrow also has the most knock back, and...

I didn't have time to read all of the above quite yet, but i thought i might mention Pit's incredible glide-toss if it hasn't been mentioned already. A glide toss followed up by an attack can prove to be quite helpful.

I disagree, i always end up being the one having to approach, after they start sending their ice, i may go in for a glide attack or a forward air, or power-shield up to them for an attack or grab of some sort, which usually ends up getting me punished. I have a real problem with this match-up...

I always find myself coming back to the pit boards constantly, but leaving with almost no new information.. ever. I've really been in need of more match up information, so I completely agree with you here.
