That explains my troubles with him. I tend to play agressive and I like to pursue people off stage. I guess having Metaknight and Sonic for first mains does that to you.

Sonic easily has one of the worst final smashes in the game now. It is way too weak and all people have to do is jump above the screen or air dodge and they take almost no damage and have zero chance of being killed.

Ugh I had a feeling the online was going to be like this. Inb4 bans for crouching too much or crouch limits are introduced.

Teching is really difficult now. Throw follow ups don't seem to work. I get hit and think I'm dead but then I just stop suddenly off stage and have to recover or I stop on stage when I expected to be off stage. Really confusing tbh. I was hoping I could just pick this game up and still go back...

As someone who switched from brawl to melee (no local brawl scene rip). The things that were the most annoying was not being able to change the controls (cough tap jump cough) and the fact that you can't use the Cstick in single player. Yeah that's right, you can't use the Cstick to attack in...

Can somebody add damage with/without staling? I think that would be useful to know. (Startup/endlag would be nice too so people wouldn't have to subtract, I almost thought nair was slower than up air for a second there)

How can I actually USE waveshines (and other tech) consistantly? I think my speed has always been a lot better than my rythm. I can waveshine pretty well when I am just using it like a wavedash but when I hit an opponent I always try to do it too fast and end up doing the WD during the hit lag...
