Jump Cancel Upsmash vs. Run Cancel Upsmash

I feel jump cancelling is even easier than dash cancelling, I just put both the c stick and the control stick up. Plus the advantages of sliding and it's quicker.

    yoshi matchup help

Basically, I found that being grounded is a really good idea, try to get them into the air before you go aerial. Make sure that he never gets right above you: that's just terrifying. Dtilits and ftilts are going to be your bread and butter, use them to control space. A way to tell who's in...

    Splitting Melee Video input

That would have been smarter, going to have to remember that. Would make it better for plater cams as well considering we cut off 1 whole person and about one half of a person.

    Splitting Melee Video input

We used the last one at an event recently, the only downside was we didn't get a large enough CRT monitor and so when doubles happened, players had to lean really far in, so just be aware of that, and get a bigger monitor.

    Splitting Melee Video input

Out there somewhere, you need to get female to male splitters (rca). Generally, it's female to 2 male, and that will have you plug the gamecube into the female port, and then have male run into the tv. Now I used to have a vga to rca connector, but there was a box (somewhat small, about the size...

    Most notable weaknesses?

You can sdi it if you're fast, or they space it incorrectly. Otherwise, try and di up and away so you don't get swatted down (this is only for offstage).

    Shield pressure with ivy

There isn't all that much that's "the best" for shield pressure. Honestly, nair is your best bet, because (this is MU dependent) I don't like getting jab distance away from people, I prefer a dtilt distance away. However if I had to say something, fair (and rar fair) can be used pretty well...

    Most notable weaknesses?

Her weight especially. If you can abuse the follow ups that a lot of characters have on her, do it. Also most of her attacks can be crouch cancelled. Like a stupid amount of them. Try to crouch cancel just about everything. Her grab. It's awful. It's possible to react fast enough and grab her...

Should l Play lvy to Learn The Game?

If you wanna play ivy go ahead, our meta is progressing very rapidly right now. While Marth is a hard MU, there are harder ones such as the spacies and Falcon, but all of which are possible. Ivy relies on fundamentals and not really much technical skill, but she is not a boring character. She is...

    Guide EV Training Course

Double Healing: basically you heal once, and then about halfway through your second heal, you let go of b and heal again. Not hard, not really useful, but it makes a difference in getting solar charges. Fast tether snapping: there is a specific time that you press up when tethering so that you...
