Heroes Draw Near. Command? (Hero Social Thread)

I hope they tone down the frequency of critical hits and to a much lesser extent whack kills. It happens way too often in my experience. In a three hour session I would get about 2-3 crits per round. It doesnt seem like much, but competitively on a large scale I'm a bit worried. I play BB and...

Heroes Draw Near. Command? (Hero Social Thread)

The person who will fully unlock the potential of Hero will be a speed reader. MARK. MY. WORDS.

Heroes Draw Near. Command? (Hero Social Thread)

Is DQ5 better on DS or the mobile port? Debating whether or not to order it at my local Gamestop.

Heroes Draw Near. Command? (Hero Social Thread)

Oh yeah Bowser has landing problems as well so that type of D-air is fine on him.

Heroes Draw Near. Command? (Hero Social Thread)

I just really hope his down air isn't like TL, Shiek, Sonic etc. I hate those D-airs, especially if they're on a swordie.

Heroes Draw Near. Command? (Hero Social Thread)

This reveal was the second time I ever jumped out of my seat from excitement after a smash announcement. I played DQ IX way back when, but gave up because my crappy DS would shut off randomly making me lose hours of grinding. Definately going to buy DQ VIII on 3DS it's on sale rn.

    Best stages for Pokemon Trainer

Many combos require platforms, plus they help squirtle and Charizard get in

If You Could Make 3 Changes to PT...

I can see this change messing up recoveries so easily (instead of switching an aerial comes out etc.) Cool, but antithetical to the whole design. You're "playing as" the Trainer, thus the final smash should incorporate all three at once. Plus Triple finish is siiiick and has a bunch of subtle...

If You Could Make 3 Changes to PT...

Objectively the best possible buff PT could receive.

If You Could Make 3 Changes to PT...

1: Charizard f-air autocancel 2: Charizard flare blitz always grabs ledge if hitbox is no longer active 3: Slight Squirtle run speed buff Ivy d-air sourspot is much weaker

I remember when people said Pokemon Trainer was the worst character....

Very viable, it just takes a lot of time and effort to learn to use each Pokemon effectively.

The champ in making would like to battle, Pokémon Trainer for Smash Switch.

160%+ kills for the win :psycho:WOOOOOOOOOO:psycho:! At least they're trying to balance the game slowly rather than shoving massive unnecessary changes seemingly for no reason(*cough* *cough* Greninja).

    Best stages for Pokemon Trainer

Castle Siege: the platform layout and close ceiling are excellent for Squirtle combos, and Charizard juggles, but the slant eats or redirects Ivy's Razorleaf. P.S: quite large so Squirtle's burst movement is not as effective, but its water gun is quite powerful offstage, and the layout it...

How viable is it to main one Pokemon and ignore the others?

Charizard is actually quite good at racking up damage, jab, flamethrower, and up-air/up-smash/up-tilt juggles stack up very quickly. It's his massive size combined with overall mediocre framedata that limit him.
