[Jan 17, 2015] Toasted Ravs 6 (St. Louis, Missouri) FT. Sethlon, Strong Bad, Darkatma and more!

Welcome! We're all very welcoming. I'm a long time STL Area Smash player, so, if you wanna play some friendlies and get acclimated to the tourney scene, find me the day of the tournament! My name's Luke.

    Tier List Speculation

I second this, because, really, that'd be pretty great.

Q&A 'Guin Saga (DDD General/Q&A thread)

I'm gradually working on a video of Ripple's D3 now. There's some footage, but, it's definitely a gradual process. Just takes a quick Youtube search.

Project: M Snake MU Thread. (3.0 Currently)

In my experience at a tourney recently, and hours and hours of practice against Lucas, MK is a tough MU for Snake, but, I felt like Lucas was pretty cut and dry. I was able to outcamp Lucas, and stuff his approach every time. And I can usually just crawl under PK Freeze, lol, which is always fun.

[Feb 22, 2014] Toasted Ravs 3 (Saint Louis, Missouri)

This is exciting, my first Project M event. Any idea on number of entrants for PM?

    Snake's new 3.0 side-b

That was actually pretty hype. Good job.

I personally have trouble with it too, because Fox is able to approach Snake so fast it's difficult to get going. One good grab on Fox could make or break the match, tbh, but, if you're not super patient and cool under pressure, it's a very difficult match up indeed.

I'm not sure if about the guaranteed damage thing. Both of these are hard match ups. It's really hard to get Sheik off of you when she's in. Camp her out to the best of your ability. If she's in and starts getting you in tilts, try to Up b out when you get breathing room. Snake is still...

Hope this helps. Also from what I've noticed from playing, Lucas isn't too difficult. One good knockdown could mean an early kill for Snake. It's so easy to deal with him off the stage as well. Also, it's hard for him to deal with a retreating up b from Snake.

If I'm playing the camp game with Ivy, or Zelda even, sometimes I just try to nest myself in, with a mine, throw a grenade and try to go for a tranq. The range on the tranq is really deceptive, sometimes it feels like it wont make the distance, and sometimes, it really does. Razor leaf is...

    Snake's new 3.0 side-b

I've been using the Tranq quite a lot. I sometimes use it to read ground techs, and, even airborne, it's nice that it stops the opponent from their current action. In the Sonic MU specifically, since he's always going around doing his own thing, it's nice to get a little breathing room when...

Gimping with Snake's up taunt cigarette flick

I definitely lol'ed. I try to gimp with the box pretty regularly. The flame effect is a nice touch.

In STL we pretty much have a scene for each game, varying in size. Project:M is being played though, yes.
