Marths use oos Up B's all the time. I guess it really just comes down to which option is best to use at the time and what benefits will come out of it. So yes, oos usmashes/upBs are good when used properly under the correct circumstances.

no. the amount of lag changes with how far through the aerial you are, so doing Diddy's dair at the peak of the SH will make you land at a point in the aerial that has 0 landing lag (maybe, I don't play diddy) whereas landing before the hitbox comes out and while it is out have different...

I use wiichuck and I've never had any problems SHing with the C button. Maybe you're not tapping it quickly enough? A SH happens when the jump button is pressed and released before the character leaves the ground, so the tap doesn't have to be light, just quick. Ironically, i find it easier...

the pit player was an idiot. i don't think he attacked even once. pit w/o arrow spam = fail.
