The only thing that you could do against a CPU is practice moves, like AT's, but having a match against a CPU isn't really recommended. Like, you can't practice mindgames against a CPU.

You could try practicing combo's on a lvl 1 cpu. Playing Brawl does make you better at catching items and powershielding, that's pretty much the only areas where you'll get a little boost. You have to put it in your head that Melee and Brawl are totally and completely different games (whether...

Sonic would be a lot higher. If you play with smash balls, you'll see that it looks like Sonic was made to depend on it. Which is a very sad thought.

Yeah, if you even play the stage just a couple of times, you'll see that it's ridiculously easy to avoid the lava. And you don't really worry about the size of the stage either when lava appears or rises.

Yeah, what he said. Anyway, I tried out Yoshi, I like his forward+B. Works much better than in melee and brawl. The up+B kinda threw me off, though. don't really know how to aim with it so well. But aside from that, Yoshi plays really good.
