I quit this game all the time, only recently did i actually quit yoshi for awhile. I swore he was terrible and not nearly as good as he was in melee, which is still agree with mostly... but that is another whole issue all-together... played some other characters and games, and after awhile, it...

They said they want to make it a monthly. I am really disappointed, I played really well and like every match was vs Meta, Snake and D3... and i never got blown out, either close or won.

50ish teams vs 170 for singles and they cut off signups for singles.. doubles should have been cut, not singles. More people, more money, more important.

Things needed to be noticed earlier, Doubles should have been either cancelled, single elim or best of 1. 1v1 is more important than doubles. They did a good job, but i just left midway through pools, glad i did since i hear only top 2 advanced. Sadly i wasnt going to make that, maybe 3 or 4.

Umm, you guys did what you could with 170 people showing... things should have been cut earlier, like double elim doubles... and maybe should have stopped signups for sings at like 128 or something and did something with that... the pools took forever and the 5min lower percentage rule sucked...

I left, I couldn't take it. They expected 50 people. 170 showed! My friends all lost and I just left before I finished my pool, not even the bracket, I got there at like 11am, and left around 9pm. I played really solid, went up against dedede snake and meta knight and gave all really close...

Its up to us to raise his rating on that tier, lets use all this and get out there and win some tourneys. We still must apply all this knowledge and place well at some big tourneys. I think we will see Yoshi rise up soon.

my big worry is my lack of MK practice of late, but what better place to put what i know to use than a tourney.

I play link personally, looking at it from playing both characters... Yoshi should eat him up. Link has ridiculous amounts of wakeup on almost all of his moves and he has the most precise non broken hitboxes for his moves in the game i think, there usually isnt any, "how did that hit me, it...

I go through the same thing, I actually picked up Luigi, Zelda and Link during one of my Yoshi downtimes. You'll come back to yoshi. I do not practice much by myself at all, I much rather play vs someone and try to apply what im trying to practice in a match situation and see how it works vs...

Just stick with it, Yoshi is really good. alot of people have never invested alot of time in him due to his "uber" limitations of no 3rd jump and no shield jump. therefore he is marked terrible. You got a lot of combo potential and some nice ko power with yoshi, find what works for you, find...

Alot of the stuff found is neat, i never see it as too practical. I just play to my opponent so who knows, I prefer strategy and timing over overly-complicated make yoshi spazz out and look ******** techs.
