Because we can. Because if we didn't, it'd irritate us that we have a blaster and don't use (see Captain Falcon). Because we like to annoy people. Because it stops enemy movement. Because it adds damage. Because it makes us look professional. Because it opens windows for other moves...

I understand where Mio is comin' from though. In some match-ups I tend to tie vsmash more in my moveset to accumulate damage then use to chop to take em' out ASAP. Usually only for those stubborn a** match-ups though. But I'm not sayin' it's better than the chop, in any other way besides range...

I cried. Beautiful stuff. ESPECIALLY the spike lock on Metaknight.

It seems as though you forgot the >smash and all the other kill moves exist (aerial chop NOT being one of them). You know how to rack up the damage.. Just finish em off. Down smash is your friend too.
