    When you chose your main...

I chose Ganondorf because of how good it feels to totally annihilate annoying characters.

    Ganondorf is the ULTIMATE partner.

I am definitely doing this on my friends.

    ~ Stage Discussion ~

Final Destination is harder to play on than Battlefield because in straight-up matches (literally) against most characters gives you a disadvantage. Ganondorf can really punish with his aerials and ground moves on terraced terrain. It also helps him avoid projectile-campers.

Infinites: Why, exactly, are they allowed?

I saw a match recently when someone teched out of DDD's D-Throw. I forgot which character but can most characters do that?

I have a problem with the murder fist

or is so manly that a flaming falcon appears to just pwn?

An example of why you should not use a character based on tier list position.

Sheik got so gimped in this game. If a Sheik and Ganon of equal skill level played, the Ganon would win since his moves out prioritize his(hers?). And Sheik's projectile takes time to charge. Also, Sheik's tilt combos, while hard to get out of, do very little damage in this game and Ganondorf...

    Brawl Character Match-Up chart

Ganondorf>Link, the only thing link has against ganondorf is his projectile spamming, but you'll take a few hits to get around that. With is about 12% damage, after that, Ganondorf easily beats link close range. Link can't run away well since he's slow and his upB is gimped easily.

Official Brawl Tier Discussion (OP Updated)

Ganondorf easily beats Sheik since his moves out-prioritizes him and Sheik can hit about six times max while comboing which is like 20-30%. He also outprioritizes Kirby, most people never bother with him but he's a gem.

Ganon is bad, but does have good points: A ganon player's perspective

Used >B. Hold shield. If ur opponent attacks, shield grab, otherwise tech-chase. His d-throw sets up combos well. Also dair->dair works well on low percentages.

Wow, I never expected tripping to HELP you... (a.k.a. lucky misfortunes)

It's not tripping but it was me and my friend and he had just gotten a hammer and we were on Green Hill Zone. He was coming after me when the stage disappeared right in front of him. He fell. I won.

    How do you fight Ike?

    But he's really arrogant.

    Tether Recovery

This should still be discussed in the appropriate thread, it's about the same topic.

    Your first match.

Ike on Wiimote vs lvl 8 DK on Shadow Moses. I lost, I missed my FS, he had one stock left.

Just came back from playing a few hours of Brawl

The first time I played (like 2 hours ago), I played Ike using a wiimote and got owned 3 stock against a lvl8 computer on Shadow Moses. But I did manage to get replays of two really cool matches. (that I won)

Video proof Slipping/tripping is stupidest thing in the history of Smash

Okay, um, I've seen a lot of threads about tripping but no one's found a solution so far, and it's been talked to death. I personally don't think it's a big deal because you can roll out of it fairly quickly. But I'm sure there will be compensation in the professional scene.
