When Brawl info leaked, it wasn't in the form of pictures (or at least, not most of it). Someone posted a list of the roster and some of those details were leaked previously. By release most people knew the leak was true, though some people were certain it'd be Crystal in the game and not Wolf...

There was a "leaked" roster screenshot that was considered pretty likely for a few weeks until Ike was confirmed. What happened is that people forgot it afterwards. Granted, it was bigger on 4chan and Reddit and not here.

Also, in the twenty years ESRB has existed they have never once leaked information so I think we can write off any speculation that these images came from ESRB. If this is a leak they are from a debug or quality assurance team.

Do we have any further information on the Tomadachi Life stage and the picture from Famitsu? That is currently the only reason I have to believe this leak. Upstate New York, mostly. (Also how do you know my nickname from old forum buddies?)

I hate to be rude but you have every reason to say this if you faked the leak. I think the leak is real (mostly due to the Famitsu/leak images matching) but it seems really suspicious to say "Sakurai might change things to cover this up" when you are the one with everything to lose. It's also...

I've tried messing with the CSS by shrinking down the boxes and they look just fine. People should remember that the boxes shrunk and also changed shape in SSBB. Roster size could be anything, doesn't even need to be perfect rows, it could look more like the Melee selection screen.

I haven't seen any definitive proof that either are fake. Wasn't the Palutena leak also proven to be "fake"?

Less newcomers than Brawl with nearly as many cuts. There simply has to be more. You think the leaker would have told us if that was all.

Yeah, the press page was up before the direct as far as I know, so the leaker could have gotten the info from another friend of his who was maybe part of the Nintendo Treehouse.
