Welcome to 2008, everyone! Or at least I hope this is the year we're in. For if you recall, in the last episode of Japan Time Time Goes Back in Time, I made the fatal mistake of letting you drive the time machine. What could I have possibly been thinking? Hopefully, wherever we've landed will be close enough to the Japan Time Time Power Hour I've been hyping up for two weeks now! I mean, sheesh.

Oh, and to get this out of the way first, you should be seeing last week's Japan Time Time entry sometime later this week. Apologies for the delay, which I blame entirely on holiday stress and not, say, on my being on a sunny beach drinking pina coladas with swimsuit models this very moment! Mmmmm. Refreshing. The, um, snow, I mean. Oh yes, where was I? Lost in time again, right!

Wait! Look what you've done! That's not Japan Time Time and you know it.

In the last episode of Japan Time Time Goes Back In Time (not to be confused with regular Japan Time Time, which never goes back in time further than a single week), we had left on a cliffhanger as we were pulled into a rip in the timestream for no particular reason. Where, or rather when, will we end up? What crazy adventures await us, as we are LOOOOOST IN TIME? Oh, the excitement! Who could we meet? Satan? Andross' big polygon face? An ugly overexposed miniboss? The thought of that is terrifying! Stay tuned and find out!

Ho ho ho! This Japan Time Time may be a little late, but rest assured, Smash fans, that it makes up for it by doubling up on the holiday cheer! And by this I mean that the rains of blood that would normally plague your lands as the update hits the blog have been replaced by a red and alarmingly salty snow.

This week, we'll be having a very merry Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Atheist-Stare-At-Walls-Day, as we discover events to be played with the power of friendship, awkwardly try to dodge major Mother 3 spoilers, and realize that maybe Kirby should eat Squirtle more often, because duuuude!
