Welcome to the Fighter's Retrospective. In this series, I'll be taking a brief yet in-depth look at the fighters' lives and histories, in order to remind the audience that this game is still worth being excited about.

So without further ado, let me introduce you to our first candidate: Pit. 

Today's update left me kind of wondering what to make of this update. Sakurai revealed some unique but baffling information. He discusses With Anyone/Basic Brawl functionality, the issue about seeing hidden characters and how the Subspace Emissary is involved.

Today Sakurai explained a feature we were already aware of, but for some reason he felt the manual we would eventually get with our game wasn't enough. Of course Sakurai is not without his unique sense of humor.

Today's a semi-double update with The main focus on Target Test, but with a second, almost off hand announcment that I know is going to make many a Smasher cheer, as Smash can now be recorded! Read on for more!

Via a thread on the boards, GoNintendo is reporting that Nintendo will be hosting a special private event on September 5th to highlight some upcoming titles, including Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy.
