Nah, I've just been banished from the character section for a year. Seems kind of weird considering I never broke any rules in any other forums besides the character discussion thread

Well; you know how it is, everyone incites debate against you, you respond, they take offense because you are usually more direct. It is really unfortunate. At least you are still kicking!

They really should just perma bann me. Because If I can't simply be direct (not even insulting people) without it being labeled as "flaming" then there is really no point.

Right? I don't believe that they are moderating the correct discussion. They allow off-topic discussion, real flaming (from time to time), noncontributory discussion. At the very least, you are always on topic, provide detailed insight, and you never really spam. Banning you isn't going to clean the character forum up, in fact, I feel as though it is a little worse. But I would be sad if they permabanned you.
