Well, I think the only way to play it at the moment, if you don't want to buy the real console and the game (which are very expansive I think), there's a way, but I don't think we're allowed to talk about it -.-

The PS2 version is Japan only though, you need a japanese hardware I think... or was the PS2 region-free? Anyway, when you finish it with a certain number of characters, it will unlock the original version as well... but it's not the same as the original, it's a modified version

with a couple of new characters and a rule changed (when you lose a round you will keep your power gauge from the previous round to the next one). I prefer the classic version, it's more fair.
I'm a bit of a collector too, and I never sell the games I buy, but there are some games that I still have to get, and some others that I haven't got because they are too hard to find or they have very high prices.

Also the framerate, the original is more fluid than the porting in the PS2 version; when the screen is full of fireballs it makes the difference XD

I've collected most of the Zelda games, both the gray and Gold cartridges.
I like Zelda the best when it comes to Nintendo, then Pokemon, then Mario, then Kirby and then Fire Emblem~

I unfortunatelly started late, so I'm missing a lot of the classic games. I have an original Ocarina of Time cartridge, but it's not mine, a friend gave it to me when left my country for work XD I have the limited of Windwaker with Ocarina and Master Quest. Unfortunatelly the only version of Majora I have is the remake, but I'm fine, it's good enough, even if there are some things in the original that I prefer.

You should see the original Majora's Mask cartridge, it's the ONLY 64 cartridge with holographic art- when you move left to right, Link swings his sword! :D
