Yep. Raths are among my favorite monsters. Freaking love Rath gear.

Azure Rath got me all the way through High Rank, I owe a lot to it.
It's hard to name any one favorite monster for me, but I generally like Brachy equipment. The Tigrex Switch Axe is boss too.

Brach gear is a favorite of mine as well. If I have to pick one monster as my all-time favorite, then I'd have to pick the Zinogre. Everything about it just screams awesome.

Indeed, he's top 5 for me. I especially like the Stygian Zinny's color pallete. And that helm for the G Rank Honed Blade set is pretty cool as well. Excited for MHX?

I would be more excited, but it kinda bugs me that it's on 3DS. I'd have preferred if it was on Wii U. That said, I'll be paying attention to it, assuming it's coming to the west that is.

I'm hoping to see 3rd Gen monsters make a return. I was slightly disappointed that MH4U left so many of them behind.

Among other things, I've heard that Amatsu, Gigginox, and Nargacuga are returning. Those are kinda hype for me, since I've only played 4U, and Nargacuga sounds really cool AND challenging.

I entered the Monster Hunter series starting with 3U and between the two games I've played, the 3rd Gen had some of the most interesting monsters to date, at least I think so. Like I said, I hope they make a return, especially those such as Lagiacrus, Barioth, Uragaan and others with their respective subspecies.

As far as I know, Leviathans are returning, albeit not with underwater combat. (This is a good thing, right?) Pretty sure Agnaktor is coming back, odds are good for Lagi. Agnaktor armor was great for me in G Rank in MH4U, being a DB main.

That leaves me quite hopeful, then. But to be honest, I kind of miss the underwater combat. It's not too important if it doesn't come back anytime soon, but I still liked being able to do it if the need presented itself.

Yeah, I just remember trying the 3U demo and not being able to do anything in the water... What weapon(s) do you main? I tend to use Dual Blades and Switch Axes, pending on if I'm playing with anyone else, and how many others.

I primarily use Gunlances, Charge Blades and Switch Axes, with my primary ranger weapons being Bows and Bowguns. As you can probably guess, I favor a more explosive playstyle. The weapons I choose depend on the monster I'm facing.
