The game isn't bad, but it needed some work. The 360/PS3 version had a few hiccups. Framerate drops, breaking tradition of the Homing Attack button, a couple irritating fillers like the Egg Cauldron and (some would say) the overworlds, needing to have enough medals to enter a stage, and for me personally, I didn't like the level up system.

As for Wii/PS2, that's probably where a lot of the complaints about the Werehog come in. That version has too much Werehog. The Daytime levels get 1 Act per zone. The Nighttime levels get 3-5 acts per zone. Too imbalanced.
