RAWRzilla confirms that Metroid: Other M uses BRRES files. They have no extensions, but that is what they are. The textures and files load in Brawl Box, but they have to be fixed in hexadecimal, or with Fortwaffle's programs.

OK so I went through some of the models from Other M, and here's a list of characters I found so far. If I skipped numbers it means I skipped boxes or other dumb stuff, and sorry if some of these are wrong. There's over 4000 files so it'll take some time to figure out where everything is.

5 - Anthony
13 - Adam
14 - Doctor
15 - Another doctor
16 - Madeline
17 - MB

I don't know if anyone else has done this yet but as I was adding bones to a model from mario kart wii (a cow from moo moo farm) everything seemed to work fine. I then turned the model and his back was stretching away from him. I looked at the bones and they were all fine and couldnt fix it. I then looked at the extra bones which had some numbers in them. So I tried fixing him and it worked. So basically I just wanted to say the somehow I added bones to a model that can affect its waist. Here is pics to prove

Top left is normal
top right is 2x
bottom left is 0.04
bottom right is 45 degrees rotation in x

I tried to do it again to other models but I can't. I think it is just the model. If you want the model wait a few days as I will be releasing him.

Okay, could you send ME a Blaziken model, because i don't have the game... nor do I want it.

Other M file #300 is a decapitated face.

Maurice's head
yeah in my list above in my first post, 280-301 are the heads of every character (in their high quality form)

In the edit in my first post I also list a few of the models that are bodies but have no heads. these are numbered just under the heads like 270 or 250

I assume these heads were used to be loaded separately from the bodies for easier facial animation and to load on the same body model for the soldiers.

They're all FPK files, so you'll have to use FPKTool to extract them. (You'll only need the EXE file from that ZIP, the rest is just the source code.) Just run it under the command prompt, and put "FPKTool.exe -u *filename* *folder*", where *filename* is the name of the FPK (0000.fpk, for example) and *folder* being the name of the folder you'll extract the files to.

I'm looking for a mdl0 model of an 4 legged, winged Dragon. Does someone know a game where I can extract it? I've tried Tales of Symphonia 2 and Arc Rise Fantastica, but the ToS2 Dragon has a messed up BoneTree and I can't fix it, no matter what I do und for ARF I don't get the brres from the .vol.

Phantom Brave We Meet Again doesn't use MDL0s
Yeah, I didn't think it would, being a port of a PS2 game and all.

Anyway, three more games confirmed to have MDL0. Wii Play, Wii Party and that one game that was unconfirmed for so long -- Simple Wii Series Vol. 6: The Wai Wai Combat.

Yea, nearly all of the "Wii" title games use MDL0s. What a coincidence :p

I'm going to check back here on Monday and if no one's check Kirby's Epic Yarn, someone's getting punched in the face.

I'm 'obtaining' it as I type... if no one else has reported I'll let yous know, I doubt there's anything there to use though.... It all seems to flowy and dynamic to be models with animation.....

Over there.
Kirby's Epic Yarn uses GFA files, but it might be a similar case like Wario Land Shake It where it has some MDL0 files. Even at that, I doubt there's much in there besides graphical effects.

Effects or not, the more MDL0s the merrier. What exactly did Wario Land: Shake Dimension have though?

Wario Land: Shake It! uses GFA too apparently. I managed to find some models in Kirby's Epic Yarn thanks to the BMS script that was made for Wario Land, but most of the GFA files won't export properly, or they do not contain models. I've only found one model so far, and it appears to be one of those buttons that Kirby can grapple onto in the game. It's nothing special really.

hello again everyone.
i'm currently checking if Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes (PAL version) has mdl0's.
the files are in .arc format, so i'm gonna use arc extractor to see if any mdl0's are present.
let you guys know soon.
