Smashville isn't CP'd the most because it's broken or some other **** that you can think about. It's CP'd because it's the best stage in the game so people want to play on it.
This really gave me a new light on FD.

SV is the **** don't knock it.
And it is relevant BPC because i'm asking you would the number of stage bans between the 2 stages be split then.
RC brinstar are basically split with the bans are also incredible mk cps (i won't count frigate and Delphino which both had considerable bans) they also share more bans than FD by a fairly considerable number.

All right. Point taken, RC and Brinstar are less balanced than FD. I never argued otherwise.
Now explain why FD is still banned more often than...

Remember, these are all stages that are deemed "too polar" to be starters. Hell, some of them too polar to be legal. While FD is still a starter.

If brinstar and RC were not legal i would completely agree with FD being the most polar stage in the game as frigate and delphino aren't nearly as good as RC and brinstar.
Here is what I will say.
1. if starters are based on polarity alone FD would unfortunately not count as a starter and would undeniably be banned more than any other stage.
2. If starters are based on in game mechanics FD is still a contender with other stages for its static enviroment.
3. I would be willing to replace FD with Castle siege (keep in mind unity rules a lot of those stages you presented are not legal), i would allow delphino provided MK didn't exsist.
I would not allow the other stages to starters above FD.
4. I personally am in favor of static enviroments (since while FD is technically polarizing it isn't NEARLY as broken for those characters as RC/brinstar) in general above any stage with hazards/transformations. This is because I do not believe skill is tested equally on stages like frigate/delphino/halberd which tests different skill sets. I am of the belief that in 99% of match ups SV is the stage that most fairly tests each players skills with their respective characters.
For example if diddy ness is even on brinstar but not everywhere else diddy still has an advantage on ness as a character vs character (this is hypothetical so ness mains do not tell me i am wrong idc). the ness chose an inferior character in general I don't see why we should artificially give ness an even stage in the MU if his character isn't as good.

I do think ike is pretty good there actually, but most characters still can't get down easily, especially with good tornado use. I do think the wind stage is my least favorite for MK out of all of them though against other characters that have better ground games.

Gay and trueI also know for a fact that Ike does rather well on the Ice part of the stage. Sliding Usmashs and Jabs everywhere.

Metaknights are scared of ICS/Diddy/Falco on FD. Meta Knights are popular. So FD is banned.

Some stats, now that I've gone over all the data and corrected every error ever:
1387 sets were played
In those sets, 3260 games were played
11 of those sets involved a person who was late and forfeited the first game
Thus, 3260 games - 1376 neutrals = 1884 counterpicks
It doesn't factor into any calculations, but one person had to leave halfway through his set and forfeit
Also the average set length was just about 2.35 games

Theres a small error both banned for and banned against
specifically if p2 switched to a different character after game 1, their ban counted toward the game 2 character and not the game 1 character
I will edit this post (not add a new one, saving #4000) with the updated banned against table as soon as i account for the people who banned based on the character their opponent switched to after a game 1 loss and a game 2 victory
in other words i have to make the error above actually apply in some specific cases but not most others

How the hell am i supposed to know if, when a match goes to game 3 and people swicth characters left right and centre, when the stage banning took place? did game 2's winner pick his ban after game 1 or game 2?

I'm chuckling at whoever banned Brinstar against Ganon. Brinstar is a ****ty Ganon stage. The only things it has going for him is the acid can sometimes help him recover and small blastzones. The acid usually hurts more than it helps, and ******** slants everywhere make it not fun for him at all.

People would be banning FD against random characters fearing a pocket IC if their character has an auto-lose against them there.
I mean, for most characters MK on Brinstar or RC is still playable. Ridiculously bad, but playable. But ICs on FD is fairly heavily polar.

Oh I know. It's just that there aren't many MUs where they should ban FD over another stage. It's anybody who has a lot less range than Ike, no projectile/good projectile, and slower movement. So basically...Luigi and Ganondorf? Maybe Kirby?
