Cake vs. Pie

I like the filling of pie better than cake, but... pie has crust (:urg:), cake has frosting.

Tough choice, but gotta go with pie.

Seriously though, I'm not a big fan of cake. I don't even really like icing anymore, to be honest, it always just feels like too much sugar to me.

Pie, on the other hand, is warm, has wonderful crust, and delicious insides. Apple pie is definitely my favorite dessert.

Birthday cake is inexplicably tasty. There are many pies I enjoy, but I think cakes allow for a bit more variety and idiosyncratic attributes that give them more unique combinations. Just my take, have to go with cake.:applejack:

That's about it with different variants of those.

Pies, on the other hand, have hundreds of flavors

Don't underestimate the pies though. They got Hershey and oreo pies.

Oh wait, we got cheesecakes. A wide variety of cheesecakes too.
Strawberry, chocolate, a lot of kinds! So yeah, you can't beat that!

I agree about cheesecake, but none of the other ones I care about

Edit: It's in question whether cheesecake is a cake or not. I don't think it should count in this discussion

Cheesecake is the most disgusting thing ever in terms of cake. I shudder just thinking about it.
